Let's dive and explore the fascinating marine world! We offer you an ultimate dive adventure in the natural wonderland of the Great Barrier Reef. Our spacious luxurious vessel will take you to 3 exclusive different Agincourt reef sites. The area of Agincourt reef sites provides the best possible underwater visibility, so you can experience this pristine eco-system with its diverse colourful corals and the vibrant marine life. At our discover scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, we are happy to welcome all diving enthusiasts above 12 years who want to dive in for the very first time.
Programme - Meeting & Preparation: Check-in for Discover scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef is between 7.30 and 8.00am at Quicksilver Counter inside the Reef Marina. We also offer Coach transfers from Cairns & Northern Beaches for an extra charge, if you are interested. Before reaching the first site, you will receive an introductory dive briefing. A highly skilled dive instructor will teach you the fundamentals of scuba diving, tell more about equipment and show a video. Before your scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef can start, a quick quiz about scuba diving is to be completed. - Diving: Under the guidance of an experienced dive instructor, you will slowly descend in a group of maximal 8 divers as deep as 12 metres (40 feet). You will have about 30 minutes time to explore the unique reefs known as ribbons that run parallel to the Continental Shelf before returning to the vessel. A further stop for a second dive and a buffet lunch will follow. At the third stop, you can join a guided snorkel tour or go for a second dive if you haven't done it yet. If you completed 2 dives, we will award you with a PADI Certificate which is a memento of your scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef cruise lasts 8 hours in total, whereas you will stay 5 hours on the reef, so you will have plenty of time for snorkeling with your family or friends as well. - Return: The scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef finishes around 3 pm when the vessel starts heading back to Port Douglas marina.
