We are excited for an educational and eventful winter season with your little skiers during our kids ski lessons for all levels in Westendorf. Our group courses for children are suitable for everyone between the ages of 3½ and 14 who wants to improve their skills on the slopes. Let your children experience the perfect winter adventure!
At the beginning of the week, the children are split into groups according to age and skills after a short test run. Beginners get used to their equipment and focus on basic skills such as the snow plough, sliding and braking. To help them, we use a variety of tools and materials, such as hoops and ropes. After the basics are mastered, they make their first turns and slide down their first easy slopes on the mountains. More advanced skiers practise parallel skiing and using their ski poles effectively.
Our ski instructors specialized in teaching children are excited to welcome your kids and show them the ropes of winter sport, together with our fluffy mascot, Billy the polar bear. Playful learning is at the centre of our lessons, which is why we organize different theme days during holidays, for example our Pirate Day. We finish the course with a Racing Day every Thursday, the highlight of many of our little skiers.
Meeting Time
For lessons starting on Sunday, we meet at our ski school 30 minutes before the start of the lesson. For the other days, we meet at our ski school 15 minutes before the start of the course.
Lunch Break
Lunch with supervision can be booked on site for €17 per day.
Equipment rental
You can pick up your booked equipment one hour before the course starts or comfortably the day before in our ski rental. We are open daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. (Schulgasse 15, 6363 Westendorf)
Ski pass
Kids until 6 years old don't need a ski pass for the lessons. All other skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.
I was really happy with this school. They got her off the bunny slope quickly and on the real piste. Other schools are happy to keep them on the bunny slopes all day. I would go to them again just to help her progress to red piste quicker, so we can enjoy the full mountain as a family sooner.
