If you want to discover the wonders of the islands of Lipari and Vulcano in a single day departing from Messina, our bus and boat excursion is the ideal way to experience volcanic landscapes, historic villages and unique beaches in the heart of the Aeolian Islands.
We will depart from Messina by bus towards the port of Milazzo, where a light breakfast will be offered before boarding. From there, we will set sail towards Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands, where you will have time to visit the historic centre, the cathedral of San Bartolomeo and the castle of Lipari, a fortress overlooking the sea with stunning panoramic views of the archipelago. During the navigation, you will also admire the famous Faraglioni, impressive rock formations rising from the crystal-clear sea.
We will then continue towards Vulcano, a volcanic island with a wild and fascinating character. Here you can relax in the Baia delle Sabbie Nere or in the natural thermal waters of the Baia delle Acque Calde, as well as admire the lunar-like landscapes shaped by volcanic activity. For those who wish, it will be possible to reach the crater of Vulcano for a spectacular view over the entire Aeolian archipelago.
In the late afternoon we will return to the port of Milazzo and then to Messina, ending a full day of nature, history and unforgettable views of the Aeolian Islands.

Departure & Return
We meet in Messina at Piazza della Repubblica (opposite the train station) 30 minutes before the scheduled departure at 07:00. From there, we travel by bus to the port of Milazzo, where boarding is scheduled at 09:30. The return to the port is planned for around 17:45 in the late afternoon. Afterwards, at 18:45, the bus departs with Giuntabus Trasporti S.R.L. from the port of Milazzo back to Messina (Piazza della Repubblica).
