6 hours to explore Giglio Island on your own
Explanations of a local guide during the navigation
Possibility of having a fish based lunch on the boat
Join us on this day trip to Giglio Island! With two different departure points, Castiglione della Pescaia and Talamone, you will be able to discover this island with its rocky coastline and some impressive coves.
We will navigate near the Formiche di Grosseto, a group of deserted inlets, or along the coast in case the boat stops in Talamone to board other customers. Either ways, our local guide will be happy to give explanations and tell you anecdotes about the area. Once landed on Giglio Island, you will have 6 hours to visit it independently. As it has been inhabited for thousands of years, you can find on the island the remains of an ancient Roman villa, as well as the beautiful village of Giglio Castello, with its surrounding walls built to protect it from Ottoman raids. The island offers many beaches and coves, some of which can only be reached on foot or by sea. Regarding lunch, you can choose to bring it from home, eat in a restaurant on Giglio or have lunch with us on the boat.
After exploring the island, we will set sail at around 5 pm. We will navigate close to the coasts of Argentario and Uccellina Park, which will be fully explained to you by our guides, and then return to Talamone and Castiglione.
The tour departs from Castiglione della Pescaia and Talamone.

Everything was fantastic, fast ship, top crew. The guide gave a very accurate description of everything.
Beautiful nature, picturesque, cozy harbor
Highly recommend--only giving it 4* instead of 5 because I was supposed to depart a day earlier and they canceled the trip around 7pm so had to do a bit of scrambling to re-organize the trip the day after as I had a meeting planned on the island.
