Are you curious about scuba diving, but no idea where to start? Then our discover scuba diving course at St. Nicholas Beach in Vasilikos is the perfect course for you. We will start on land, in the classroom at our base. Here you will get an introduction and a safety briefing, and we will teach you the basics of scuba diving. Then we go into the water to practice your first dive! The sea in St Nicholas bay is shallow and completely safe for inexperienced divers. You will go in small groups, accompanied by our professional instructor. If you want, you can dive as deep as 5 meters!
Dive area
The dive will take place right at St. Nicholas Beach in Vasilikos. We can walk into the sea from our base on the beach. This bay has plenty of shallow areas that are perfect to practice your first dive.
Programme
We meet at our base at St. Nicholas beach in Vasilikos at the booked time. Upon arrival, we will show you to our classroom at our base, here you will fill out a medical form. After that, we start with a safety briefing, and we will hand you all the needed equipment. You can try it on and our professional instructor will explain how everything works. You can leave your belongings in the classroom when we leave. Then you are ready to dive!
From our base, we walk straight into the sea, so we can dive in the shallow waters of St. Nicholas bay. Your group will consist of maximum 4 people, and you will dive one by one together with the instructor. In total, we will spend about 25 minutes diving, and if you feel comfortable you can dive as deep as 5 meters. When everyone has made a dive, we make our way back to the base to change and wash the equipment. The course will be finished after approximately 2 hours.
