Details
Join our boat trip on the Auray River and explore one of the most beautiful waterways in Morbihan! We will start our walk from the Franklin quay in the port of Saint-Goustant, which was named after Benjamin Franklin, who is said to have landed in Auray in 1776 to ask France for help in supporting the United States in the War of Independence.
Our boat will head south to the sublime castle of Plessis-Kaër. We will then continue our journey to the picturesque fishing village of Le Bono and pass under an Eiffel-style suspension bridge dating from 1840. Along the way, we will be accompanied by a multitude of birds such as zitting cisticola and water rails that will come to greet us. Our local captain will also tell you stories in French, which will bring to life the places we visit. On the way back to the port of Saint-Goustan, we will prepare a tasty aperitif, during which you can try a local cider or succumb to one of our delicious kirs.
