We will set sail through the St. Ante Channel aboard the wooden boat Sv. Jakov, where you will admire the UNESCO-listed St. Nicholas Fortress, a remarkable sight from the water and a perfect opportunity for photographs. As we continue, we will pass by the city of Šibenik, offering you a panoramic view of its fortresses—St. Ivan, St. Mihovil, and Barone—as well as the impressive St. Jakov Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece and a symbol of the city. The cruise will then follow the Krka River towards Lake Prokljan and the historic town of Skradin.
During the journey, our crew will serve a selection of appetisers, including prosciutto, cheese, kulen, olives, and pickles. Sailing past Skradin, one of Croatia’s oldest towns and a renowned tourist destination, we will enter Krka National Park and continue to the Skradinski Buk pontoon. Once there, you will have time to explore the park, following trails and wooden walkways that wind through the waterfalls. You will also have the chance to discover the ethnographic collection and weaving workshop, where an expert will provide insight into traditional craftsmanship, and visit the historic mills and rolling mills that have harnessed the power of Skradinski Buk for centuries.
After returning to the boat, we will serve lunch on board, featuring veal risotto with a seasonal salad and fresh fruit. As we make our way back towards Šibenik, you can relax on deck and enjoy the final moments on the water, reflecting on a day of discovery in one of Croatia’s most stunning natural landscapes.
A nice day trip to Krka National Park. Great scenery, nice crew and delicious food.
