Come along and experience an adventure you won't soon forget with our PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Pernera! Young or old, everyone can explore the incredible underwater world of Cyprus, even without previous diving experience. After a theory session, you'll be ready to take your first breaths underwater with our experienced instructors. The sea around the island is known for its good visibility and the countless sea creatures that can be found off the coasts.
You will have the opportunity to do up to 3 dives, starting from the beach for the first 2 dives. The last dive takes you to the Museum of Underwater Sculpture Ayia Napa by boat, where you can see beautiful sculptures. So grab your friends and family and dive into the crystal clear waters off Pernera!
Dive area
On your first dive, you will explore Blue Bay. This very beginner-friendly bay is home to colourful fish and other marine life, as well as two statues that you can discover during your 45-minute dive. On the second dive, you will head to Green Bay. Reefs, amphorae and more statues await you at this beautiful and peaceful bay! The last dive is a real spectacle: here you can visit the famous underwater museum MUSAN with many artworks in the form of sculptures! Please note that in some exceptional circumstances we might have to re-schedule the dive at MUSAN due to adverse weather conditions.
Programme
We meet at our base at the booked time. If you come by car, free parking is available directly at the meeting point. We also offer hotel pick-up from Pernera, Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni, which can be arranged after booking. After a short theory session of about 30 minutes, we will already be on our way to the beach where you can do your first dive in small groups! If you decide to do more dives, you can do 2 dives in one day or split them over several days. If you do 2 dives in one day, we offer you fresh sandwiches during the break, which you can eat at our base. You can do the other dives without additional theory sessions and therefore fully concentrate on the diving and the stunning underwater sceneries.
