These private snowboarding lessons are ideal for children aged 6 and older, as well as adults, to either get started in snowboarding or enhance your existing skills! Here, you will receive the guidance that enables rapid progress right from the beginning. In no time, you will master your first turns and tricks, allowing you to shred down the slopes on your own. If you already have experience, feel free to let us know what you would like to learn – whether it is refining your turning technique or attempting your first tricks in the snowpark – your snowboard instructor will safely guide you through your snowboarding day.
Ski pass
All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the course. It can be purchased online or at the lift station before the first lesson. Children born in 2018 or later receive a free mini ski pass at the lift ticket office in the Dachstein West ski area (proof of age required).
Good to know
- Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson. Please make sure you or your kid have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson. During our lessons, we are always wearing a helmet.
- For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you to book early in advance due to the high demand.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Do I need to book my lessons in advance?
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
