No, swimming ability is a requirement to participate in this course.
On your dives, you might be lucky enough to see glittering fish such as dreamfish or rock mullet.
To participate, you need to be at least 10 years old, be in good physical health and have swimming ability.
This course qualifies you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet with a PADI professional by your side.
The price includes the certified PADI diving instructor, high-quality diving gear, a scuba tank, e-Learning material, and the PADI registration fee & certificate.
Yes, prescription masks are available for those who wear glasses with a prescription from -1 to -4. If you need a stronger prescription, you must be comfortable wearing contact lenses.
The course lasts 1.5 days and is divided into an online e-Learning part, 3 practice dives in confined water, and 2 open water dives.
To ensure a quality experience, groups are limited to a maximum of 6 participants per instructor.

Cydive Paphos uses the PADI System of diving education and offers courses as well as rental equipment that meet the international PADI standards.






The activity PADI Scuba Diver Course in Paphos for Beginners by Cydive Paphos is available on Monday and Thursday, from August 2, 2026 through October 29, 2026. On each available day there is 1 start time at 8:30. Sessions last 1.5 days and are offered as group activities. Prices start from €360.00 per person.
