The wish to ski in the heart of the impressive Dolomites can be fulfilled with our adult ski lessons at Alpe di Siusi. It is safe to say that skiing in a declared UNESCO world heritage since 2009 is quite the experience. Everyone from the age of 13 is invited to join our lessons, where we give skiers from every level room to improve.
Our well-trained ski instructors will support you in bringing your current level of skiing to a greater one, in a delightful and motivating setting. We will train you in developing your technique and skiing style. Beginners will start on a practice hill, located near the top station of the Seis - Seiser Alm cable car. Exercises for the fundamentals of skiing such as learning the snow plough, and braking on command will support you in managing your first blue run.
Skiers with prior experience will get the chance to get a taste of spectacular slopes from "Spitzbühl" to "Florian" and "Monte Piz" to "Puflatsch". While enjoying the breathtaking views, our ski instructors will do their best to analyze your technique and provide you with targeted exercises. Those will focus on improving your turns and skiing style to become a master in skiing down red and black slopes. In a group of 10 participants maximum, you will create great moments and advance together.
Be aware that the schedule changes depending on the period: During the Carnival weeks (31.01 - 12.02) the lessons on Sunday take place from 14:00 to 16:00. The rest of the week, the lesson will take place from 10:30 to 13:00.
On the first day, we meet 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
A lift ticket is necessary to reach the meeting point.
The ride from the valley takes about 20 minutes, allow extra time in high season.
You need to bring your own equipment.
First timers don't need a ski pass on the first day of the lessons. The instructor will let you know when to buy it.
All other skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons.
I highly recommend "Adult Ski Lessons", the week was full of fun and great energy, but, also, really productive in terms of improving my skiing skills. The instructor, Peter, was patient, knowledgeable and encouraging, creating a relaxed atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable progressing at their own pace. Best choice, great experience!
A very good instructor, I learned a lot. The start was a bit chaotic. We arrived well in advance and had reported our arrival, but the group had already left while we were still waiting.
While Patrick knew how to technically teach me the basics of skiing, he could improve his people skills. Possitive reinforcement goes a long way.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
The minimum age to participate in the lessons is 13 years.
The groups consist of a maximum of 10 participants.
Ski equipment is not included in the price. You need to bring your own equipment.
