Youngsters from each level of skiing are welcome to join our kids ski lessons. No matter if your kids want to make their first steps on skis or advance their already obtained skiing skills, our ski instructors will make sure that each child will learn something new. We offer multiple locations where your kids can enjoy their skiing adventure. You can choose from Mitterdorf, Freyung (Solla) and Waldhäuser. One thing we can ensure is each location offers the perfect conditions for each level of skier.
Children between 4 and 14 years will be classified into groups with 10 participants maximum, consisting of the same age and level. In Mitterdorf and Waldhäuser first-timers will kick off their lesson in the kinderland located there. At Freyung (Solla) a suitable practice slope will be the starting point for beginners. They will learn how to break and do the snow plough through playful exercises. For the more advanced skiers the lesson focus on fine-tuning their skiing skills and bringing them to the next step of mastering red slopes with parallel turns.
When booking the 5-day lessons, your kids will have the chance to participate in a ski race, including a winner ceremony. Your kids will feel like real ski stars and can celebrate the end of a great week.
Meeting time
On the first day, we meet 30 minutes before the start of the lesson. Depending on your chosen destination, we meet in:
- Mitterdorf: directly at the ski school office (Almbergstr. 2, 94158 Philippsreut, DE)
- Freyung (Solla) at: the bottom station of the skilift Solla (Geyersberg 6a, 94078 Freyung)
- Waldhäuser / Neuschönau at: directly at the ski school office (Lusenstraße 46, 94556 Neuschönau / Waldhäuser)
If you come by car, there are free car parks just a few steps away.
You can pick up your children at the same meeting point as at the start of the lessons.
Lunch break
Supervision with lunch is bookable on-site (for €18 per hour) only for our location Mitterdorf. There is no lunch break supervision at Freyung and Waldhäuser.
Equipment Rental
If you book including equipment, you can conveniently pick it up at your chosen location. We recommend picking up your equipment 1 hour before the start of the lessons in our rental shop.

Ski pass
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

- Courses for disabilities are available upon request. After completing your booking, please get in contact with the ski school directly to discuss the possibilities.
