Boat Trip to the Polignano a Mare Sea Caves

Our boat trip to the Polignano a Mare sea caves is the ideal opportunity to get the most out of your holiday in this beautiful area of Apulia. Involve friends and family and be thrilled by the spectacles that only nature can offer.

Departure is from the Cala Ponte marina, which we will see getting smaller and smaller as we head toward the destination of our trip. A succession of inlets and beaches, including the splendid Cala Paura, will alternate along the way, before our arrival at the caves of Polignano a Mare. Our experienced skipper will determine the most appropriate itinerary depending on weather and sea conditions, but the caves we will undoubtedly try to visit are Grotta dei Colombi, Grotta degli Innamorati, Grotta delle Monache and Grotta delle Rondinelle. The size and characteristics of our boat, moreover, will allow us to visit the inside of some of these caves as well.

The time will come to visit one of Salento's most famous attractions, Lama Monachile. This place has been shrouded for years by an unmistakable charm conferred by the perfect harmony between rural architecture and the thousand shades of the sea and the Mediterranean scrub. Here, in fact, you can admire sheer cliffs overlooking the turquoise sea embellished by a row of pretty houses built in Lecce stone.

Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to dive into the sea during the swimming stops, so do not forget to bring your mask and snorkel to fully enjoy the beauty of Polignano above and below the surface of the sea! There will still be an opportunity to take some photos of the scenery during our return to the Cala Ponte marina.

Itinerary
Departure is scheduled from the Cala Ponte marina. After about 1.5 hours of navigation, the return will be made at the same point.
