Trial Scuba Diving in Argelès-sur-Mer

Float in the water like an astronaut does in space with our trial scuba diving in Argelès-sur-Mer! Our professional instructors will provide a comprehensive briefing, introducing you to the equipment, safety protocols, and basic diving techniques. You can choose to whether explore the deep blue sea, and be accompanied by glittering and colourful fish during this experience, or, you can also make this first step in the scuba world from the beach. It is all up to you!

Dive Area We will be diving near the Cerbère-Banyuls Marine Nature Reserve. Here you will discover rocky reefs, home to exceptional biodiversity: more than 1,200 animal species and 400 plant species are known to live in the reserve. Among them, groupers, octopus and sea bream will come to greet you.

Programme Once the booking is completed, we will send you all further instruction to access the SSI elearning portal. You will have to download the MySSI application, create a profile, and then, we will send you all necessary information to access the necessary documentation. If you decided to do your trial dive in the sea, we will meet at the Racou beach. There are both free and paid car parks near the meeting point. One of our instructors will welcome you and give you your diving gear. Then we will take the boat and navigate to the dive area. You will dive one by one, with the instructor, for about 25 minutes in a maximum depth of 6 meters. While the others are diving, you will be able to snorkel around the diving spot, to explore the seabed even more! If you decide to do your trial dive from the beach, we meet at the Racou beach. You will meet one of our instructor, that will provide you with the necessary equipment. This is a VIP activity in a small group, with one instructor for only 3 to 4 people. While one participant explores the underwater world with the instructor, the others can enjoy the site by snorkeling.
