With these private snowboarding lessons, kids from 8 years old as well as adults can start their snowboarding journey under the supervision of an experienced snowboard instructor. The lessons will be tailored to your personal experience and goals, to ensure quick progress, fun and safety. Our instructors' full attention is on you and your first snowboarding adventure in Saalbach.
During the beginners' lessons, you will acquaint yourself with your equipment and grasp the fundamentals of snowboarding, including making your first turns and conquering easy slopes. In no time, you will gain control over the board, confidently gliding down the slopes.
Meeting time
We meet 10 minutes before the start of the lessons at the chosen meeting point.
Ski pass
All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can purchase it at the lift ticket office.
I highly recommend the school, and especially my instructor, Vitek. As a 50 year old woman who has never seen a snowboard in real life, and hearing the horror stories about snowboarding, I was doubting my decision. However, here comes Vitek, full of enthusiasm, able to make me relaxed, explaning everything, making sure I don't actually fall (I only fell 4-5 times on the last day once I was snowboarding on my own - YES, I was able to snowboard and zig-zag down the bunny slope on the 7th hour of learning!), he was able to fully adjust his teaching to my skill and speed of learning, and even the weird part where I don't have preference for a side (regular or goofy). We have even started doing the turns the last day, and he managed to remove my fear from the lift!
I absolutely love snowboarding now, and I am planning to go back to Hinterglemm/Saalbach next winter, and continuing lessons with Vitek.
