What to Expect

Give your kids the perfect start on the snow with group ski lessons for first-time skiers aged 8 to 16, designed to introduce them to skiing in a safe, fun and supportive environment. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Foppolo, this beginner-friendly ski resort is ideal for young skiers. With its gentle slopes and a secure learning area, it provides the perfect setting for children to gain confidence on the snow.

The lesson begins with a warm welcome from our qualified instructors who specialise in teaching kids and creating a fun, confidence-building atmosphere. In small group sizes of maximum 10 participants, your child will receive personalised attention, ensuring faster learning progress. The lesson follows a step-by-step teaching method, starting with the basics of balance and stopping, which are essential for safe skiing.

As the session progresses, children will learn the important skills of turning and safe slope behaviour. These skills are crucial for navigating the slopes safely and enjoying the sport. Throughout the session, kids will have the opportunity to practice on designated beginner slopes within the resort, ensuring a supportive environment that encourages progress and enjoyment.

Meeting Time

We meet at the beginners’ area near the K2 restaurant, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. Please bring you booking confirmation.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 8 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Booking confirmation

• Ski pass

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Warm socks, including an extra pair

• Ski equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The maximum group size is 10 participants per group

• The minimum amount of participants for this course to take place is 3
