What to Expect

Embark on an unforgettable adventure starting from Avola, heading south towards the stunning Lido di Noto for your first stop. As you continue, you'll enter the breathtaking Vendicari Nature Reserve, passing through the enchanting areas of Eloro and Marianelli. Here, you'll take a refreshing swim in front of the picturesque Calamosche beach.

The journey will then take you deeper into the heart of the reserve, where you'll admire the magnificent remains of the Vendicari tuna fishery. Shortly after, you'll stop at the serene white beach behind the Vendicari island. Get ready to snorkel and observe the ancient four Roman columns from the second century A.D., located about 5 meters deep near Marzamemi. Sicily Boats provides all the necessary snorkeling gear, including fins, masks, and snorkels.

As you navigate towards the island of Capopassero, you'll marvel at the Tafuri castle and explore the octopus cave beneath the Spanish fortress. Enjoy a delightful aperitif featuring Sicilian sparkling wine, ragù-filled arancini, fresh fruit, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Finally, you'll stop in Marzamemi for a 30-minute land visit to the ancient fishing village, where you can sample local culinary delights. The trip concludes with a return to the port at sunset or early evening.
