What to Expect

Discover Moroccan culture during our 3-day desert excursion from Marrakesh. Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, where winding roads and panoramic views set the stage for what is to come. Your first stop is the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that will transport you to another era with its ancient kasbahs and earthen buildings.

From there, continue to Ouarzazate and journey through the magnificent Dades Valley. Here, you will rest for the night in a traditional kasbah or a charming local guest room, immersing yourself in the authentic Berber lifestyle. The following day, venture deeper into the landscape, exploring the dramatic Todgha Gorge and Valley before making your way towards Merzouga.

As the sun begins to set, enjoy a magical camel ride through the golden dunes, arriving at a typical Berber bivouac. Experience the magic of the desert as you dine under the stars, enjoy a show with traditional dances, and spend the night in a traditional tent. On the final day, relish the tranquillity of the desert morning before heading back to Marrakesh, your heart full of unforgettable memories.

Itinerary

• Departure Pick-up at your accomodation in Marrakesh

• Day 1: High Atlas Mountains, ksar of Aït-ben-Haddou, Ouarzazate, Dades Valley

• Day 2: Sahara Desert with Todra Gorges, camel ride to camp in Merzouga (1.5h/2h)

• Day 3: Camel ride back in the Erg Chebbi (1.5h/2h), return to Marrakesh

• Arrival at your accommodation around 8 p.m.
