Discover the stunning sceneries of Iceland’s South Coast on our day tour from Reykjavík to the Glacier Lagoon at Jökulsarlón and the Diamond Beach. The journey will take you to some of Iceland’s greatest treasures, including the iconic waterfalls at Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. You will see immense rivers of ice reaching down from the mountains and volcanoes inland as we pass Skaftafell National Park on our way to the Glacier Lagoon.
Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Iceland, is not only a majestic ice cap but also a spectacular glacial landscape. As one of its outlet glaciers flows toward the lowlands, it forms an extraordinary natural wonder. This massive ice field feeds into the Glacier Lagoon at Jökulsárlón, where huge icebergs break off and drift into the lagoon. These icebergs create a breathtaking scene, with their luminous blue hues and intricate shapes. Afterwards, we head to Diamond Beach not far away. Where you will find a beach with black sand and huge iceberg fragments, uniquely shaped by the wind and waves.
This tour is ideal for adventurers who want to explore Iceland’s unique geological wonders in just one day.
