Embark on an unforgettable Northern Lights snowmobile ride from Rovaniemi, where we will journey to a secluded mountain with clear northern views, maximizing your chances of seeing the Aurora Borealis. The adventure begins with a 45-minute travel away from the city lights, offering an opportunity to spot the lights en route if the skies are clear. On arrival, you'll reach the summit comfortably on a snowmobile sleigh led by a professional guide. As you enjoy the scenic ride, your guide takes care of the driving, allowing you to fully immerse in the serene beauty of the Arctic landscape.
Once at the summit, ascend the wooden stairs to a watchtower offering a panoramic 360-degree view of the northern horizon. This vantage point provides one of the best Northern Lights spotting opportunities, with a 90% success rate on clear nights. Warm up by a fire in a traditional teepee, savoring hot beverages and barbecue snacks. Here, your guide will share fascinating stories about Northern Lights and Arctic mythology, enhancing the mystical atmosphere. Under the Arctic starry sky, spot constellations like the Big Dipper and Polar Star, beneath which the Northern Lights often appear. Conclude the evening with a light-hearted Lappish shamanism experience, where our Aurora guides bring a touch of folklore to your adventure.

The tour was really a great experience. The guide was friendly and patient. There were also 1-2 sections on the route where you could go full throttle. Our snowmobile drove at a maximum of 40 km/h, so it was throttled because the vehicles can actually do well over 150 km/h. Nevertheless, the speed felt sufficient. Driving through the snowy landscape at night is indescribable. Unfortunately the sky was overcast so we didn't see the Northern Lights. The break in the tepee with a campfire with hot drinks and food on the way back was very cozy. Our request for vegan food was taken into account. All in all, it was a very nice experience and worth the money.

Great tour with Fabien our guide. He drives us out of Rovaniemi to see auroras, 45 minutes away The kota was magic and the drive there in Snowmobile was just crazy! We booked the normal tour but we were happy to have a private tour as we were only the 2 of us and the guide.
