What to Expect

These lessons are ideal for anyone aged 10 and up who is confident on red runs and wants a personalized introduction to off-piste skiing in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. You can choose a private session or form a small group of up to 5 participants with a similar level. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will explore gentle off-piste terrain at your own pace, learning to ski safely and confidently in natural snow.

The lesson begins with a brief orientation on the equipment and safety protocols. Participants will become familiar with using safety equipment, including a backpack, transceiver, probe, and shovel. The instructor will then guide you through techniques for navigating off-piste terrain, focusing on balance and control. As you progress, you will learn to adapt to different snow conditions, crucial for mastering freeride skiing. This flexible lesson format offers a safe and exciting way to discover the thrill of freeride skiing while enjoying the mountains to the fullest.

Meeting Time

We meet in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

• Minimum age: 10 years

• Minimum level required: proficient on red slopes
