At our kids' area on Alp Trida (next to the Milo lift N3)
Ready for a new snow adventure? With these snowboarding lessons, teens and kids from 7 years old can learn snowboarding or improve their skills in a fun and safe environment. In the scenic resort of Samnaun, children are introduced to the joys of snowboarding in a playful and age-appropriate manner. Our experienced instructors ensure quick progress, plenty of fun, and a safe riding experience at every level. The resort is known for its breathtaking views and well-maintained facilities, making it an ideal place for young snowboarders to learn.
The lesson begins with first-timers familiarising themselves with the equipment. Kids learn the basics of snowboarding, such as strapping in, balancing, and using the heel edge and toe edge for their first slides and stops. These foundational skills are crucial for building confidence and ensuring safety on the slopes. For more advanced riders, the focus shifts to improving carving technique, switch riding, and navigating through varied terrain, possibly including the snow park.
With a maximum group size of 9 participants, each child receives personalised attention, making their snowboarding experience enjoyable and memorable. If a child finds themselves in a mismatched group, our experienced instructors facilitate an easy transition to a more suitable group. Overall, these lessons provide a comprehensive and fun way for kids to either start their snowboarding journey or refine their existing skills.
We meet at our Kinderland on Alp Trida (next to the Milo lift N3), 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. To reach the meeting point, take the double-decker gondola (L1) from Samnaun-Ravaisch to the mountain station (Alptrider Sattel). Following this, you can ski down via Piste 69 to Alp Trida. The piste is classified as blue, but it has a steeper section at the end. Instead of using this piste, you can also take the Alp Trider Sattelbahn chairlift (N6) to get to the meeting point.
Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.
Kids up to 10 years do not need a ski pass for the lessons. All kids above do. It can be purchased at the lift station before the start of the lessons.
