In our kids ski lessons in the beautiful skiing area of Sierra Nevada, we invite all children aged 6 to 13 years to learn winter sports and improve their existing skills. No matter if your children are beginners or already advanced, the skiing area offers the perfect slopes for every ability. The Sierra Nevada resort is renowned for its diverse terrain and stunning views, providing a perfect backdrop for children to enjoy and learn at their own pace. With a group size of 3 to 7 kids per instructor, each child receives personal attention, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment.
The lesson begins with familiarisation with the equipment, including skis, poles, and boots, which are provided as part of the course. Helmets are also included for children under 12 years old to ensure safety. For beginners, the focus is on learning the basics of skiing, such as balance and control, which are essential for building confidence on the slopes. Meanwhile, intermediate skiers work on mastering parallel skiing and refining their technique, enabling them to tackle more challenging sections of the mountain.
During the 3-hour session, children will explore different parts of the Sierra Nevada, including gentle trails for newcomers and steeper runs for those ready to advance. The course is designed to be both educational and fun, with instructors tailoring their approach to match the skill level of each group. This dynamic environment not only enhances skiing skills but also encourages a love for the sport, making every lesson a unique and memorable experience.
We meet at our meeting point at the top station of the cable car, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
