About the Activity

What to Expect

Introduce your little ones to skiing in Courchevel with our Petit Ours groups, created especially for children aged 3 to 4 years old. These gentle introductory lessons take place in a calm beginner area where young skiers can discover the snow at their own pace. With only 3 children per group, the instructor can offer plenty of support and individual attention.

Each session is built around simple games and playful activities that help the children move, slide, and gradually become more confident on their skis. Through these fun exercises, they learn the basics step by step: gliding for the first time, stopping softly, and starting to control their speed. Our caring instructors adapt their approach to each child, making sure everyone feels comfortable and encouraged.

At the end of the week, every child receives the Petit Ours medal, a small reward to celebrate their progress and first achievements on the snow. This friendly format creates a reassuring atmosphere, allowing young skiers to enjoy their first skiing experience in Courchevel with confidence.

Meeting Time

We meet at the Oxygène flags, at the bottom of the Jardin Alpin gondola, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. Free for children under 5 upon presentation of ID at the lift ticket office.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The maximum group size is 3 participants per group
