What to Expect

Introduce your little one to the joy of skiing with introductory ski lessons in Neukirchen for children aged 4 to 5, offering a safe and playful environment for their first steps on the snow. Nestled in the heart of Hohe Tauern, Neukirchen is renowned for its gentle slopes and family-friendly facilities. The lesson begins with a warm welcome from the qualified ski instructors, who specialise in teaching young children. Your child will be introduced to their ski equipment, learning how to put it on and take it off, an essential skill for building their independence on the slopes. These lessons are the perfect opportunity for kids to try skiing without the commitment of a whole course.

In the supportive and fun atmosphere of Neukirchen's designated children's area, the young skiers start with basic movements in small groups of maximum 4 participants. This gentle introduction to skiing helps them build confidence and understand how to control their movement. The instructors use child-friendly teaching methods, incorporating games and playful exercises that keep the children engaged and motivated. This approach ensures that the children not only learn effectively but also enjoy every moment. By the end of the lesson, your child will have taken their first steps in skiing, ready to continue exploring the snowy world with newfound confidence.

Meeting Time

We meet at the "Kinderland" kids' area at the top station of Wildkogelbahn, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Please note that during high season it may take up to 1 to 1.5 hours to reach the meeting point from the valley. During low season, it may take up to 45 minutes.

Ski Pass

Kids up to 5 years old don't need a ski pass for the lessons. All kids above need a ski pass.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 4 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Booking confirmation

• Ski pass

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Warm socks, including an extra pair

• Ski equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The maximum group size is 4 participants per group
