What to Expect

These full-day kids ski lessons for kids aged 3 to 5 of all levels in the beautiful area of Flachau is the perfect choice if your child wants to learn skiing or improve their technique. Nestled in the stunning Austrian Alps, the Flachau ski resort offers a special children's area featuring a magic carpet and various learning tools. Our friendly and experienced ski instructors employ child-friendly techniques to ensure your child learns safely, with fun and motivation. The courses are an effective mix of play and learning, with a maximum of 12 children per group so each participant receives plenty of individual attention to ensure safety and progress.

The main goal is to open the world of skiing for your child. Beginners will make their first rides on the magic carpet and in the ski carousel, which are important for building confidence and balance. The children's area provides a fun environment where your little ones can also build snowmen and go snow tubing, ensuring they have an unforgettable day on the slopes. More experienced skiers will improve their technique on the slopes, allowing them to enhance their skills and enjoy the thrill of skiing even more.

Full-day lessons are more efficient because children can dedicate more time to learning, allowing them to significantly improve their skills within just a few days. The focus is on introducing children to skiing and turning them into confident, safe skiers.

Meeting Time

We meet at the practice area below the Starjet 1 valley station, by the container with the ski school name, 30 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

Your children can be looked after by the instructors during the lunch break (meals and lunch care included). You can book this service directly on-site for €18 per child per day.

Ski Pass

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

Children up to their 6th birthday receive a free lift ticket every day at the ticket offices of the Flachau cable cars.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 4 participants

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly

• Group lessons are divided by age and ability, which will be determined verbally or by an on-snow assessment (skiing/riding a short distance). If the ability allows, your children are welcome to join the same group.

• All lessons are available in German, English and Dutch. Upon request, more languages are available.
