Before heading down the slopes of the Grand Massif ski resort, there's nothing like a private ski lesson to get back in shape. Our private ski lessons for adults are aimed at skiers of all levels. They allow you to choose exactly what you want to work on, in collaboration with your instructor. If you haven't skied for a long time, just want to regain your confidence before skiing solo, or simply want to benefit from the expertise of a professional to work on new techniques, this is the most appropriate option.
With this one-to-one session, your instructor will take the time to give you personalized advice and adapt to your pace to ensure you have a great time while progressing effortlessly. It's also an ideal way to discover the area differently, as your instructor, a passionate local, knows the Grand Massif slopes inside out.
Meeting time
We meet at the time agreed when you book. For the first lesson, in order to meet your instructor, we will wait for you:
- At the bottom of the Kédeuze cable car in Les Carroz
- At the top of the automatic and covered magic carpet of Bissac in Flaine Forêt
Ski pass
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass before the first lesson at the ski lift ticket office or online.
My wife had a lesson with Josie, who spent more than the allotted 2 hours with her. Josie had great knowledge of the area and the techniques my wife could employ to improve her skiing and confidence. A fantastic experience.

Despite the cable car in Les Carroz being closed, ESI informed us the night before of a new meeting point for my wife’s one-to-one lesson.
Sébastien turned up ahead of schedule and finished a few minutes after his alleged slot. He was good humoured and enabled my wife to overcome a lot of her fears. She thoroughly enjoyed the class and has improved her skiing hugely as a result of the instruction.

We went to Flaine on a family holiday of seven. We had two instructors, one for the adults and one for the children.
The instructor we had was called Olly, he was fantastic right from the start. He was encouraging and friendly, in between skiing he explained about the area. He was brilliant at explaining the techniques for skiing safely as well as bringing our group on under our different abilities. By the end of ten hours tuition we were skiing
blue and some red pistes. Considering I personally am a total novice I was very impressed. Thanks Olly.
