My son and I learned a lot in 2 days. Technique improved a lot and clear explanation in English
Our original instructor fell ill at the last minute, but Wolfgang was great in sourcing another instructor for us. We had 4 lessons originally booked but ended up booking another because the level of tuition was so good. There were three of us in the private lesson and all our needs were catered for perfectly. Our instructor Monty had a great level of knowledge but also a great teaching style which was excellent for the kids.
Good experience
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
