The thermic flight offers you an extended flying experience. With this type of flight, we use upwinds and thermals to spiral upwards. In the distance, you can see the highest mountains of Tyrol, like the Großglockner and the Großvenediger. Tour programme- Meeting and Preparation:Depending on the desired starting point, we meet at the valley station of the Lienzer Bergbahnen or at the tennis hall in Lienz at the booked time. You will find enough parking spaces there. At the start at the Zettersfeld we ride together with the mountain lift to the starting point. Depending on the weather conditions, we could also fly from Hochstein mountain, which can be reached either by car or by taxi. From the car park, it is a short walk of about 10 minutes.
- Start and Flight:
When we arrive at the launch site, your pilot will give you detailed instructions on how to fly, take off and land. Then we check the equipment and with only a few steps we are already in the air. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy the view of the Lienz Dolomites.
- After Landing:
After a wonderful flight, we land gently at the landing site at the Postleite in Lienz. From there it is a short walk back to the meeting point.

Depending on the starting point, different additional fees will apply. These are not included in the price. If you fly between the beginning of December and the middle of April, or between the end of June and the middle of September and start at Hochstein, we will take the lift to the starting point. Outside these periods, we can either take a taxi or your private cars. If the weather conditions in Lienz are not good enough, we can go to our alternative starting point in Upper Carinthia.

Please wear sturdy, non-slip, ankle-high shoes and comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather. A wind jacket and gloves may also be necessary. The sources do not mention if spectators can watch.

The total duration of the activity is about 2 hours, with a flight time of 40 to 60 minutes.
