Tour programme - Preparation: We pick you up at your hotel between 12 and 1 pm and take you to our base, where you will get your equipment and can change. Afterwards, we drive to the gorge with our bus, where an introduction will be given by the guide. After a very short ascent we reach the entry point. - Tour: The route can be adapted to your individual wishes - there are moderate and difficult variants. Many jumps are voluntary, because you have to climb up to undertake them - if you don't want to, just bypass the point. - Return: At the end of the tour we drive back to the camp, where you can shower and change. After a glass of champagne or a beer we take you back to your hotel. It is the ideal opportunity to combine a stay in Salzburg with a dash of adventure. First, we will take you to the Salzach, where we master rapids, ride on the waves and pass an impressive waterfall. Later we continue with the Almbach tour, where we finish off the day with endless jumps, swimming and fun. Tour programme We pick you up at your hotel at approx. 8:30am and take you to our base, where you get your equipment and can change. Then we will go by our bus to the river, where an introduction will be given by the guide. On a short part of the route we will familiarise you with the character of the river and the commands on the boat. Soon we reach the "labyrinth", a blocked rapid, which demands our concentrated attention. After the infamous "railway surge", we continue on many waves through Lend. From the impressive waterfall of the Gasteiner Ache it becomes a bit more leisurely. Shortly before we get off the boat there are still some lively sections waiting. At the end we drive back to the camp, where you can shower and change. We eat lunch at the Gasthof Torrenerhof next door. At 2pm we set off for the 2nd tour in the Almbachklamm.The course can be adapted to your individual wishes - there are easy variations where difficult places can be avoided or roped down, while the advanced (or brave) among you can also dare higher jumps. "Wolgang was an awesome guide. Firstly, he caught me not clipping carabineers properly .. once was enough to take clipping seriously but he was able to catch me on other times when the lock didnt fully clip. As a beginner, this route was quite challenging for me but Wolgang made it somewhat easy. When i am stumped on which way to go, he guided the way. He gave me water tooo.. hahaha... he was my father, my mother, my ancestor. ..all jokes aside the klettersteig should be taken seriously. That being said. I had alot of fun. He is very light hearted and easy to smile but quick to correct you for your safety. I plan on becoming more fit so i can have more energy to do more klettersteig. This was a good real intro to the sport."
