Extreme Canyoning in the Cetina River"I booked the Extreme Canyoning tour online on a whim. Very easy, paid online, met at 10 a.m., equipment was issued (good suits, vests, shoes, helmets), and the first briefing was given in English. Everything was well organized and professional without being overbearing. Short transfer times to the starting point in a VW bus. The path to the river is a bit challenging, but no one is stressed. The tour itself, with these views up the rock faces, is fantastic! The €7 for the rental shoes (ADIDAS TERREX) was well spent, as they also protect the ankles and offer excellent grip. The abseiling from over 50 meters is breathtaking and doable for anyone with a good height. A fantastic experience among the rock faces and jumps from 10 meters... "My 5 children and I ( ranging in age from 18-5 years) had an amazing morning rafting down the river Cetina. We started very early in the morning and saw no one else on the river which was extra special. The scenery was beautiful and very peaceful. Our guide was fantastic and made the whole experience safe but also very fun for everyone. We stopped to have a swim in the very clear water and do some jumping off the big rocks. A throughly enjoyable morning which we would recommend very highly to anyone coming onto Omiš. Great value for money and so much fun!"
