Learn to ski in St. Moritz
St. Moritz is one of the most famous luxury ski resorts in Switzerland and is located in the Engadin, a high valley in the canton of Graubünden. The ski area St. Moritz - Corviglia is part of the large ski alliance Engadin St. Moritz, consisting of the following 5 smaller ski resorts: the family-friendly St. Moritz - Corviglia, the more demanding Corvatsch, the high alpine Diavolezza/Lagalb, Celerina near St. Moritz and the family paradise Zuoz.
St. Moritz - Corviglia is located only 2.5h from Zurich and 3h from Milan and Bolzano. The mountain Corviglia is situated in the heart of the ski alliance at an altitude of 2486m. From St. Moritz you have also access to the slopes of the Marguns (2278m), the Salastrains (2048m), the Signal (2130m), the Munt da San Murezzan and the Piz Nair, the highest mountain of the resort at 3057m above sea level.
The meeting point for beginners group lessons is usually right next to one of the mountain lift stations of the Corviglia mountain. In order to adapt the course to the participants’ needs, the ski schools in St. Moritz like to keep the group sizes quite small.
To achieve the best results possible, however, booking a private ski lesson in St. Moritz is highly recommended. Suitable for both, kids and adults, the lessons are perfectly tailored to the participant and his/her needs and abilities. Furthermore, the meeting place can be arranged individually with the private ski instructor.
