Italy I recommend starting, as we did, from Castellamare di Stabia, as you can enjoy views of both the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts. It's beautiful to see the coasts and towns from the sea (we also saw them from the road, but it's a whole different story!). Positano left me a bit disappointed because of the "too many" people (tourists); you couldn't admire it, only "walk." Amalfi, with its more open spaces, was more satisfying. I also found it much richer in things to see, including the unmissable cathedral!
Germany The highlight of our trip to Italy. Not boring! We had a personable, responsible captain. The length of the excursion was ideal - only to be recommended for children.
