"We promised seven stars, but unfortunately we can only give them five!
A warm welcome to say the least, on a boat that has its own inherent charm, that cannot even be described: you either love the caicco or you love it; in addition, this one, furnished in a delightful way, with attention to small and simple details, "that really give a touch to the environment".
The beginning of the navigation was seasoned with a brief explanation of the surrounding panorama: the lighthouse, the castle, the coast of Vieste, and obviously a dutiful nod to the legend of Pizzomunno and Cristalda.
After the first swim offshore, the children were given colors and paper to pass the time and on request we stopped for a second swim, during which we managed to swim to a truly picturesque inlet.
Back on board, a delicious aperitif was served with white and rosé prosecco, fruit and tarallini.
After another short moment of navigation, the captain dropped the anchor to allow us another swim and prepare lunch: friselle with a suitably spicy chicken breast sauce, couscous with vegetables and tuna, a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by focaccia from Puglia, all washed down with rosé wine and water.
After lunch we resumed navigation, which is always very gentle on a gulet, allowing for a healthy nap on the sofas at the stern.
After a short stop for another dive at Pizzomunno, we set off again towards the port.
On board it was possible to take a short shower at the bow with fresh water (without soap) and there is a cabin available for guests to change and go directly to dinner in town.
It is a shame not to be able to share the photos of the day, which are truly beautiful.
A very special thanks to Stefano and Elisabetta, two wonderful, welcoming, friendly and attentive people.
If we were to return to Gargano we would definitely be on board their Turkish caicco again, or we hope to meet them again on the Tyrrhenian coast, to enjoy their wonderful company.
NB for families: 7 hours on a boat with children is not a lot, even if everyone knows their children. If they do not know how to swim, on board there is equipment to allow them to bathe in complete safety, always under the supervision of the adults who accompany them.
Special mention also for the cost of the excursion, because the courtesy of having reduced rates for children is absolutely not widespread.
So an absolutely recommended activity!"
