Tandem Paragliding from Bischling - Thermal Flight

If you're aiming high, this flight is just the right one for you. It is not without reason that the Bischling is one of the most popular paragliding areas in Salzburg. Due to the favourable and sunny location, there are often good flight conditions and the tandem pilots can use the thermals to climb higher and stay in the air longer. In very good conditions, you can even see some peaks of the Pongau from above.

Tour programme - Meeting and Preparation: We meet 15 minutes before the booked start time at our flight school in Werfenweng. You can park your car directly at our base. From there, we head to the Ikarus cable car, which is only a few meters away. During the ascent, you can ask your pilot any open questions. - Start and Flight: The starting point is directly at the top station. Once there, the tandem pilot will explain the course of the flight and prepare the equipment for take-off. Then your flight can start: You walk a few fast steps on the meadow, and you are already in the air. Since you sit in front of the pilot during the flight, you can simply lean back and enjoy the view of the mountain panorama of Salzburg. Your flight ends on the slightly sloping landing field at the Zaglau landing site in Werfenweng. The landing is as easy as the take-off, either you run a few more steps until you come to a halt, or you lift your legs into the air and let the padded harness cushion you. - After Landing: The landing site is situated opposite the flight school, so you can directly get into your car.
