Details

This rafting on the Haute-Isère river is the longest rafting tour in France! 23km of rapids and calmer sections, perfect for admiring the wild landscapes of the Tarentaise, await enthusiasts from 12 years old. You will tackle the famous Aime rapids with evocative names, such as "the dining room", but also paddle through the Centron gorges to catch your breath. At any time, your guide can modulate the difficulty of your rafting experience according to your level. A busy and happy afternoon!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We welcome you at our base in Aime, on the banks of the Isère river, 15min before the start of the activity. After getting to know each other and discovering our high-quality rafting equipment, we can teach you paddling techniques before driving you to the Bourg St Maurice raft launch site 15min away.
- Tour:
We will start with the most challenging part of the river, 16km long. The Aime rapids await you: "the dining room", "the ham cutting machine" or "the dessert", quite a programme! Then you will go on to a quieter section in the heart of the Centron gorges, for 7km. Optionally, we can even stop to make a jump from the Roman bridge.
- Return:
At the end of our adventure, we will take you back by bus to our base. There, you can take a good shower, rest and even enjoy a meal at the restaurant "Rive Gauche".

As a family of four (children 12 and 15) we had a great afternoon. The landscape was beautiful, the staff and equipment were professional and our guide Nico was very good and funny. The tour was sometimes for chilling, sometimes action.
