At our ski school office, on the first floor of the bottom station of Schachenlift (Füssener Jöchle Straße 4, 6673 Grän)
In my ignorance, I booked the wrong lesson. Upon arrival, action was taken quickly and the lesson was switched to the correct variant. Two half-days with Gunti's introductory lessons gave me the confidence to safely descend the slopes. Very educational and enjoyable.
We are absolutely thrilled! Very friendly and accommodating, great ski instructors.
Confidence back after 3 days of ski lessons
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
The lessons take place in small groups with a maximum of 5 participants.
The beginner ski lesson lasts 2 hours.
On gentle slopes, you will practise your first turns in the snowplough and work individually on your goals.
The lessons take place in the Füssener Jöchle ski area, which offers 9 kilometres of slopes with ideal conditions for beginners.
Tickets for the booked course and all other information can be obtained directly from the ski school office, or the day before.
