Would you like to try out ski touring in the company of an experienced guide? Whether you are a beginner or already have experience, you are in good hands with us. Our ski touring lessons aim for ever winter sportsperson that is curious to learn something new in the magnificient region of Grän, in Tyrol.
For first timers, we offer a tour in easy terrain with the ideal introduction to familiarize yourself with the technique and equipment. For the more experienced, we offer a beautiful tour over Gessenwangalm to the peak of Füssener Jöchle with a subsequent downhill run over the ski slope.
Equipment
The equipment (touring skis, skins, boots and poles) is included in the price of our ski tour offers.
Meeting Time
The tickets for the booked course, as well as all other information, can be obtained directly from the ski school office. You are also welcome to come by the day before to prepare everything in advance.
Ski pass
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass before the first lesson at the lift station.
Exactly what we wanted - an introduction to ski touring. The ski school staff and ski hire guy were friendly. We went out with Stan and he was a really nice guy. He explained the basics and then we were off and spent an enjoyable few hours walking up hill and then being shown how to transition to ski down. We enjoyed the session and it provided everything we wanted in that we were able to spend the next couple of days practising on our own. We'd never have headed to Gran if it hadn't been for the CheckYeti website.

Friendly staff and guide, lots of parking and variable wooded terrain to explore. Good value for money and a great introduction to ski touring.
