Good level
Pleasant group size, logical learning progress and cool ski instructors who cater to the children.
my 8 years old daughter loved the group lessons! we initally booked for 2 days, but then she asked to extend for other 2 days. teachers were great (2 teachers for a group of 8 kids).
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
These lessons are designed for children between 6 and 12 years old who can already ski and want to improve their technique. On the first day, children are divided into groups according to their level.
To ensure an effective learning experience, children are divided into small groups with others of a similar skill level. For example, a group might consist of 8 children with 2 instructors.
The course takes place in the Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort. The instructors choose the specific slopes based on the group's abilities.
The meeting point is at one of the bottom stations of the cable cars in the Špindlerův Mlýn ski area, 5 minutes before the lessons start. The exact location can be arranged with the ski instructor after booking.
You can book the lessons with supervision and a meal included. In this case, the instructors will look after your children during the break from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Alternatively, you can pick them up. It is also possible for parents to join the children for lunch.
