You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

The meeting point is at the mountain station of the Wildkogelbahn 2, 15 minutes before the start of the course.

You can pick up your course ticket at the ski school office (Marktstraße 203, 5741 Neukirchen am Großvenediger). You can do this either the day before the course starts (until 5 pm) or on the day of the course, one hour before it begins.

The lunch break is from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. You can pick up your children at the meeting point for lunch. Alternatively, lunchtime supervision including lunch can be booked on-site for €19.

If the minimum number of participants for a full-day course is not reached, the course will be shortened to a half-day session.

Children up to 6 years old do not need a ski pass for the lessons. All other skiers need a ski pass from the first day. Please note that an adult bringing a child to the meeting point will need a ski pass.
