What to expect
If your children between the ages of 6 and 12 are just starting to ski and can't get enough of the snow, our full-day ski lessons for beginners are just the right choice for you. The experienced ski instructors of the Swiss Ski School Veysonnaz teach the students how to ski on our own practice slope. With playful exercises and lots of fun, the aspiring racers learn the basics of skiing and soon feel at home in the snow.
In a group of about 8 peers of the same age, learning is even more enjoyable and new friendships develop. On the slopes of Veysonnaz, the young speedsters improve their technique and discover their love for skiing. Every Friday, the kids can prove what they have learned during the ski lessons at the Ski School Slalom Trophy and receive a medal as a reward.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
