Details
Are you looking for a refreshing activity to share among family or friends this summer? Let yourself be tempted by river trekking! This initiation to canyoning is particularly suitable for children or beginners, thanks to its playful obstacles and its lack of difficulty. A different way to discover the green landscapes of the Dourbies Gorges.
Tour programme
Preparation
We meet on the car park of the Saint-Jean-du-Bruel football field. Then you will follow your guide with your car for 5min to reach the parking lot at the canyon's site where you will be provided with your equipment. You will need to walk 15min to reach the starting point of the canyon, where you will be provided with the safety instructions before going into the water!
Tour
You will enjoy the temperate waters of the Dourbies Gorges with a lot of different obstacles: jumps, slides, floating, swimming... The big advantage is that you can do jumps and slides again if you want, for a higher dose of fun! Regarding the difficulty, no abseiling passage is to be expected and all jumps can be avoided, either with slides or with walking.
Arrival
Once the adventure is over, a 20-minute walk (be careful, it goes up a little) is to be expected before reaching the parking lot and your vehicle.
