Alpine Balloon Ride in the Chiemgauer & Tyrolean Alps

Mountain lovers watch out! Our winter alpine ride takes you through impressive mountain landscapes and offers a truly unforgettable experience. Floating calmly through the air, you feel free and relaxed and discover the world from a new perspective. Your experienced balloon pilot ensures your safety on board and gives you an insight into the fascination of ballooning.

Take-off area
Depending on the weather and wind conditions, we choose a suitable take-off site, which is mainly located in Austria.
This inner-alpine ride is characterized by the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Tyrolean or Chiemgau Alps and the particularly clear views. You will fall in love with the snow-covered slopes, majestic peaks and wide valleys, which you pass along the way.

Ride programme
- Before take-off:
We meet at the arranged time at our office in Hittenkirchen near Bernau am Chiemsee, where there is enough parking for guests. From here we will take you to the starting point, where you will receive a detailed safety briefing. Afterwards, you can help the team to set up the balloon and learn a lot about the art of ballooning.
- During the ride:
Now we are ready to take off and glide gently through the clear winter air. During the ride, you stand in the basket and can enjoy the fantastic view of the mountain landscape around you. Of course, you are welcome to take pictures of the surroundings and your fellow travellers. After about 1.5 hours we land on a suitable field.
- After landing:
In teamwork we dismantle the balloon and all passengers receive the traditional balloon baptism with an individual certificate, in which you are elevated to the nobility of balloonists. The ground crew then takes us back to the meeting point where your car is parked.
