The Wildspitze is 3,768 meters above sea level and is the highest mountain in North Tyrol and the Ötztal Alps. It is the second highest mountain in Austria after the Großglockner (3,798m). Because of its unique position within the Eastern Alps it is very often climbed in summer and in winter. Since the Pitztal Glacier lift has been installed it lends itself for beautiful day trips.
