Are you a romantic person or a dolphin lover? Or maybe both? Then this tour is the ONE for you! We set off every day with max. 12 people on board to the open waters of Adriatic Sea and look for dolphins! Experience the amazing sunset and the elegant creatures that roam the seas off the Istrian coast.
Our boat Coastworker departures usually at 6.30pm from Ribarska Koliba during sunset. It has to be a sunny day and it is not 100% sure that we find dolphins every time. The Dolphins are wild and live free (they are not trained). You can park your car at the free parking lot, which is located in the forest of Ribarska Koliba resort. Please, come at least 10min in advance. After arrangement, the pick-up in Verudela 9, Bunarina is also possible.
After leaving the port, you'll have a breathtaking panoramic view of the Verudela Bay from our deck. Continuing the ride along the coasts of the Stoja Bay heading to the National Park Brijuni, we will try to find the dolphins. From experience, we know that this time is the best for dolphin watching, as the maritime traffic is smaller and they look for some small fish, squids, shrimps and jellyfish for "dinner". If we are lucky, we'll see them jumping in the waves and sometimes they also swim along with the boat and raise their heads above the water. We take a break for swimming on Seagull's Rocks. If we don't find dolphins we take a second break for swimming. Please bring swimming suits and towels. When the sun completely disappears, you can enjoy the romantic atmosphere, relax and listen to the breaking waves.
After spending 3h on the open sea searching for dolphins, we'll head back to the port, where we started our journey. The time of return might differ quite a lot, as it depends on how lucky we are with tracking our jumping sea friends. The expected time is around 9.30pm.
