Do you want to become safer on your mountain bike and gain confidence in yourself? Our methodically structured riding technique course teaches you all the necessary basics to learn safe riding in simple terrain. Our course has a maximum of 8 participants so that we can really concentrate on everyone sufficiently and thus help everyone to achieve fast learning success. Included in the training is the explanation of meaningful techniques and movement sequences, the intensive practice of these techniques so that your step by step self-confidence in the terrain grasps, the practice in the training area to consolidate the techniques and, depending on the group, also the exit into the immediate terrain. Eschach offers us the perfect conditions for a successful course: beautiful green, wide paths, and motivated trainers! The course can be attended both with the mountain bike as well as with the E-bike. Learn and have fun with us, we are looking forward to seeing you! Meeting & Preparation We meet at 09:30 at our base, where we have a coffee. Here we take the chance to get to know you all better and to learn as much as possible about your goals and the fears that prevent you from reaching them. Then we continue with the bike check and the bike set-up, with which we make sure that your mountain bike is well equipped for the terrain. Course content - Handling the bicycle gearing - Ergonomic position on the bike while seated - Relaxed position on the bike in standing position - Handling the brake system - Safety on (loose) gravel uphill & downhill - Techniques for downhill curves - Development of control and balance on the bike - Safe mastering of steeper passages uphill & downhill Bring along - Mountainbike (or rent on site) - Helmet - Water bottle Requirements - Minimum age: 14 years - Physical fitness - Ability to ride safely on a bicycle
