With the Dardu canyon located in the heart of the Calanche de Piana, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we invite you for an unforgettable day of canyoning! This technical descent includes big abseils. Almost dry in July and August, in spring this canyon offers you extraordinary landscapes, with a flourishing vegetation characteristic of the Haute-Corse. This unique journey ends at the sea, where the boat is waiting for you to return.
Tour programme- Preparation:We meet
between Piana and its Calanches, we will give you the exact address after your booking. Your state-certified canyoning instructor will provide you with your equipment there. It will be necessary to walk about 5 min to reach the canyon, on a well-marked path. Once on site, safety instructions will be provided before entering the canyon.
- Tour:Now it's time for several hours of descent in this unique canyon: numerous obstacles await you such as several jumps (never obligatory), abseiling descents reaching 25 m, some of them under waterfalls, but also slides, often epic. A picnic break will be organized during your trip in the middle of the fabulous landscapes of pink and ochre granite
- Arrival:The canyon ends directly by the sea. There, a boat is waiting to take you back to the fishing port of Porto (when the sea allows it).
