River Trekking in the Ese River from Bastelica near Ajaccio

The Corsican mountains can be very busy during the summer months. If you are looking for a fun and family-friendly route, joining our river trekking in the Ese river from Bastelica is just what you need. The wild setting of the Zipitoli forest, away from the crowds, will delight young and old alike. The tour, with its many obstacles, including a non-compulsory abseiling descent, is ideal to discover canyoning, from a young age. Adults and children from 6 years old will love jumping into the river and floating in the refreshing water, under the watchful eye of our experienced instructors.

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet you near the bridge of Zipitoli on the Bastelica road, at the start of the forest track (we will tell you after your booking how to reach the meeting point). Your state-certified canyoning instructor will provide you with your equipment there. Then, a short 10-minute approach walk is necessary to reach the departure point. Once on site, safety instructions will be provided before entering the canyon.
- Tour:
During the two hours of the river trekking tour, you will have the opportunity to overcome many fun obstacles: jumps, swimming, floating... The bravest can also try abseiling (but it is not compulsory). The route is punctuated by pools of translucent water, shaded by the pines and ferns of the Zipitoli forest.
- Return:
Once you reach the end of the canyon, a 10-minute walk awaits you to reach your vehicle.
