Scuba Diving Course - SSI Open Water Diver

This SSI Open Water Diver course at Cascais Dive Center is the best way to start your certified scuba diver adventure! In this globally recognized diving certification program you'll learn all the skills to feel confident underwater together with our experienced and certified diving instructors. Small groups of max. 4 students per instructor guarantee personalized lessons tailored specifically to your needs. You'll never want to get out of the water again! Goal of the course The SSI Open Water Diver brevet is globally recognized and enables you to rent or buy diving equipment worldwide as well as going on dives independently together with a dive buddy. Meeting & Preparation After your booking, we'll send you the link for the online access to the SSI Theory course. That way you can already study the theoretical basics and don't have to spend long hours in class on site. At the booked start day of the course, we meet at the Cascais Dive Center, located directly along the Marina of Cascais. There, you'll meet your certified SSI instructor who will answer any open questions you might still have. Before we start with the fun part of the course, you'll take the test to prove your knowledge. We will then start with practice exercises and dives in shallow water and ideally do an open water dive already on your first day. Course content - Day 1: Final exam about theory + Practice in shallow water + 1 Open water dive - Day 2: Practice in shallow water + 1 Open water dive - Day 3: Practice in shallow water + 1 Open water dive - Day 4: 1 Open water dive Note: The order of the individual parts of the course can change and will be individually adapted by the instructor.
