Would you like to gain an insight into the world of diving? Rovinj is a beautiful coastal town with breathtaking vegetation and interesting and exciting underwater scenery. With one of our certified diving instructors, you will first have a theory session and then a practical session in the sea to get a feel for your career as a diver. We teach you important contents and strategies that are essential for a safe dive. Dive in together with the Diving Center Scuba Rovinj and experience the world from a different perspective. We are looking forward to seeing you!
Goal of the course
In this course you can try out diving for the first time, get to know important basics in the area of safety and technology and get a little closer to the breathtaking underwater world. You'll learn everything you need to know about diving equipment and how to behave underwater.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our dive center at the booked time. Parking is available outside the camping site, at 8 minutes walking distance from the base. Here we will introduce ourselves and take the chance to get to know you better. Afterwards you will be given the equipment, which will of course be explained to you. After that, you will give a safety briefing and then the fun can begin.
Course content
- 1 hour of theory on our terrace: diving equipment, behaviour during diving, diving safety measures, meteorology
- 1 hour of practice in the shallow sea (up to 4m) accompanied by a diving instructor

This was our second dive. The previous one, which took place elsewhere, had been a bit too traumatic due to a lack of proper instructions. We decided to give it another try, and it went much better! The instructors were very clear in their explanations, and the training progressed gradually—just as it should. I’m very happy that after this positive experience, my partner is finally convinced to get a scuba diving license!
